2 ingredient BAE-gels

Okay first and foremost, can we all just give a slow clap to whoever invented the bagel because, DANG they are GEWDDDD!

Now I’m not gonna lie, these don’t replace the real thing but if you’re looking for a delish alternative that has less carbs, more protein + probiotics..these are for you! Plus they’re fun + easy to whip up and they make your kitchen smell like a bakery…SIGN. ME. UP.

I’m not going to lie and say I created this recipe on my own (although I wish I had because whoever did is a bagel GENIUS) but I have put my own spin on it + I think the end result is quite tastaaayy! dEATS below!

2 ingredient BAE-gels


  1. 1 cup organic plank greek yogurt
  2. 1.5 cups self rising flour
  3. Optional (but highly recommended) toppings: Everything But The Bagel Seasoning, italian seasoning.


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place parchment paper on a baking sheet + lightly coat with cooking spray.
  2. Combine yogurt + flour + a sprinkle of EBTB + italian seasoning in a large mixing bowl. Dump dough onto a lightly floured flat surface + knead dough for about 5-10 mins until dough is smooth. Dust with some additional flour if dough is still too sticky.
  3. Divide dough into 4-6 equal parts and shape each portion into a small ball. Then use your thumbs to make a hole in the center and gently pull and stretch until the dough is a small ring.
  4. Top each bagel with additional seasoning + bake for 25 minutes
  5. Try not to eat them all in one sitting 🙂
